Some people are just
dog people.
And dog people need a place to belong.
Here's what I kept noticing at Loose Park on Saturday mornings: dogs would connect — tails wagging, energy flowing — and their humans would smile, say hello, then move on. There was something beautiful in that moment. And something missing.
A space to stay. To go deeper. To actually build something with the people who just get it.

No one in my family owns dogs. None of my close friends owned dogs. So I found myself at Loose Park on Saturday mornings — coffee in hand, Bubba at my feet — thinking: wouldn't this be so much better with more people?
That question became The Doggie Social Club.
I joined DSC because I wanted a dog community. When the team asked me to host, it was a no-brainer. I genuinely wanted a real, recurring, beautiful thing — where dog owners show up week after week and actually know each other's names. And their dogs' names. Especially their dogs' names.
This space is for the ones who talk to their dogs like family. Who see them as more than pets — they're companions, personalities, little souls walking beside us. Doggie Social Club is home for that kind of connection.
It's fun. It's alive. It's growing. And it becomes what it is through you.
