For the ones who treat their dogs like family. Come for the dogs, stay for the community. Join Kansas City's favorite Saturday morning doggie ritual — where coffee flows, tails wag, and strangers become friends.
What You Get
Your choice of drink from Crow's Coffee — KC's favorite — included with every ticket. Your dog's morning, elevated.
Each dog takes home a treat bag packed with goodies to keep the good vibes going well past Sunday.
Curated icebreakers to get the conversation flowing — because your dog already broke the ice, now it's your turn.
The Experience
Grounds & Hounds isn't just an event — it's a ritual. From the moment you arrive at Loose Park, the morning is yours. No pressure, no agenda. Just good coffee, good dogs, and the kind of slow Saturday energy that makes the rest of the week worth it.
For the Little Ones
We have a dedicated gentle zone for dogs under one year old. Because puppies deserve their own pace — and their own space to shine.
Trainers Invited Every Week
We invite locat dog trainers to Grounds & Hounds — to help with questions, run quick demos, and to coach dogs (and human) to feel supported. Their presence is part of what makes G&H feel safe, professional, and genuinely fun.
Before You Come
Grounds & Hounds works because everyone respects the same simple code.
Every decision we make centers around the comfort, safety, and joy of the dogs in our community.
Good vibes only. No controversial topics — and no dog drama either. All dogs must be non-aggressive. We're all here for a good time.
We love Loose Park. Bags are available on-site — please use them.
Big, small, fluffy, wrinkly — every well-loved dog has a place in this club.
No walk-ins. All spots must be reserved on Eventbrite before the event.
That's really all we ask. A good attitude and a happy dog. The only thing we ask is that your pup is safe to be around people and other dogs.
